Our commitments
At SNCF Connect & Tech, social responsibility commitments and actions are not an end in themselves, they are a key part of the sustainability of our business.

Our CSR approach at a glance
SNCF Connect & Tech has been aware of its corporate responsibility towards society since its creation more than 25 years ago.
We assume our social responsibility first and foremost through a shared commitment to contributing to society's ecological transition by operating in the shared and low-carbon mobility sector.
But we are also aware that, to last, our company must be responsible. CSR is therefore at the heart of our performance model and incorporates environmental, social and governance issues.
Our culture of responsibility
At SNCF Connect & Tech, we firmly believe that our employees are our greatest asset - that's what our community of #DigitalMobilityChangers is all about. So it's only natural that our CSR approach is primarily based on a shared culture of responsibility.
This culture of responsibility is present at every level of the company. For example, our employees are trained to integrate sustainable practices into their jobs.

Our environmental responsibility
SNCF Connect & Tech operates in the mobility and digital sectors, both which have a particularly high impact on the environment. Contributing to the mitigation of climate change is therefore one of our priorities.
How? We are working on three fronts to improve the environmental impact of our activities.
Reducing our greenhouse gas emissions
We finalised the assessment of our greenhouse gas emissions in the second quarter of 2024 and will be putting in place a trajectory for reducing emissions.
Sustainable IT Label
SNCF Connect & Tech has been awarded 'Label Numérique Responsable' (level 2), in recognition of its ambitious, long-term commitments to a more energy-efficient, inclusive and accessible digital environment.
This label, managed by the Lucie agency, is based on the guidelines of the Institut du Numérique Responsable (French Institute for Responsible Digital Technology), which promotes collective efforts by teams to incorporate these principles into all of a company's activities.

Partnership with the Pimms Médiation national network
In 2024, SNCF Connect & Tech strengthened its commitment to inclusive mobility by signing a three-year partnership with Pimms Médiation. This initiative engages in the combat against the digital divide thanks to the co-financing of a learning module on how to use mobility applications and the training of mediators in the new features on SNCF Connect, while encouraging our employees to participate in skills-based sponsorship activities.

Our social responsibility
In terms of social responsibility, our main impacts cover inclusion in the workplace, and the accessibility of our tools and services (and by extension, the accessibility of sustainable mobility) to as many people as possible.
Ensuring diversity and inclusion in our business lines and our ecosystem
At SNCF Connect & Tech, we believe that diversity is a source of enrichment, both among employees within the company and the performance of our activities.
Women's access to jobs in tech
We promote the tech professions to women, especially girls:
- by welcoming girls on secondary school work experience to introduce them to our professions and to programming during 'Girls Can Code' sessions with the Prologin association;
- by taking part in the Hour of Code event, a worldwide initiative to raise awareness of new technologies among schoolchildren and encourage girls in particular to learn more about jobs in digital technology.
Inclusion of people with disabilities
We work with AKTISEA to support our employees in the process of obtaining recognition of their status as disabled workers.
Enhancing accessibility to sustainable mobility
In concrete terms, this means that the tools and services we create are not only designed to facilitate access to shared, low-carbon transport, but are also accessible themselves.

Pursuing a responsible purchasing policy
SNCF Connect & Tech pays special attention to choosing its partners. To ensure that its purchasing policy is in line with its values, the company has defined a charter for its suppliers and their subcontractors. The aim of this charter is to prevent the risks of serious breaches and violations of ethics, human rights and the environment associated with the company's activities, and to optimise its positive impact. The charter is available for consultation below.
