For passenger information to play its full role, it has to be available to all stakeholders in contact with passengers. Our teams of tech experts take up this challenge every day:
- On SNCF Connect and our other media partners, by making information available in real time on the website and app, or by sending notifications.
- In stations and for train and station staff working with our SNCF Group customers, to contribute to visual and audio announcements and the real-time sending of text messages and useful information.

With SNCF Connect, users have real-time information at every stage of their journey. As their journeys do not end at the station, we want to offer them useful information not only for trains, but also for the rest of their trip (public transport, walking routes, etc.). In advance of their journey, users have a clear, detailed overview of the state of service: timetables, recommended routes, departure and arrival stations. On the day of travel, they have access to the latest information, starting with the departure platform or platform marker for their train coach. And, in the event of disruption, users are never alone: our solutions manage proactive information to provide real-time support for both everyday and occasional journeys. For example, users can simply subscribe to the train or metro routes and lines of their choice, and they will receive the relevant information in real time.
