For mobility stakeholders, cartography has become a strategic tool for meeting the very real needs of passengers. Indeed, a map or plan considerably enhances the user experience: information presented visually is understood more quickly than plain text.

Based on OpenStreetMap, the world’s most comprehensive open-source mapping database, Tesmo Maps combines geographical expertise with rail industry know-how to meet the needs of mobility, infrastructure and connected services. The solution is built around three key modules: base maps, rail routes and points of interest.

Tesmo Maps is all about customisation, giving you total creative freedom. We supply the data, but the assembly and rendering are done directly by your users' browser or app. The result: complete control over map style, lane and road colors, and dynamic display.

In addition to generic data, Tesmo Maps lets you add thematic layers, particularly for railways: tracks, stations, platforms, knockers, signage... We can also create tailored layers for all your needs:
 

• Inventory of parking lots within 500  m of a station;
• Mapping of PRM-accessible stations in a given departement;
• Creation of a business lines layer to analyze the environment of a railroad line;
• Etc.

A good cartographic base also relies on efficient searching. The Points of Interest module instantly finds any object in our data: train station, town, bakery, bus stop, river... The search is typo-tolerant and results can be sorted by relevance.

The solution is entirely designed to adapt to our customers' uses and tools. Data is updated daily, and any gaps or errors can be easily corrected or added to.
